A lively 4 peice with a massive sound and a set list that caters for all ages. Ranging from The Beatles to Kings Of Leon, Dapper cover all bases but add their own twist to each number…look out for their mega mix of Will Smith hits!
With years of live performance experience between them, Dapper are the most edgy but satisfying band you could ever need… from the on stage antics of singer Ry, the dancing feet of guitarist Johnny, the power poses of bassist Greg and the solid hands of Damien on drums… there’s something for everyone in this band!
Between sets they will lay down a soundtrack to your event with any request you have through MP3’s and CD’s to make your night as special and unforgettable as possible.
What makes Dapper stand out most is their interaction with the crowd to make sure you all feel very much part of the show.
4 piece vox, drums, bass and guitar
Dapper will accept any event UK and Europe wide. They have a standard 2 hour set which can be split into 2 x 1 hour sets or 3 x 40 minute sets, as well a having an extra 1 hours set of music available for an additional fee. Client's can request songs to be played in the set and can also request songs to be added to the pre-recorded music on between the live sets.
Damien Trent - Drummer for Dapper, has been playing and recording drums for many years, working with numerous bands and solo artists along the way such as Richard Walters, Noel Hogan (The Cranberries), Charly Coombes (22-20's) and Missing Pieces, and touring with bands such as Supergrass.
Greg Houghton - has played in numerous function bands including Xfm house band, released an album in 2008 with The Splendour and completed a UK tour off the back of it, got played on MTV2, Radio 1, NME TV and reviewed in Q magazine and the NME. Music degree graduate and now a music lecturer at Northbrook College, been playing for roughly ten years.
Ryan Freebury - has been writing and playing for over 13 years and has played with numerous bands through the years and written with many artists, including: Chris Difford (Squeeze), Steve Hillier (Dubstar) and Kate Walsh. Awarded Songwriter of The Year Award at The Brighton Institute of Modern Music in 2006.
Johnny Stubbs - started playing Guitar at the age of ten and was initially influenced by his father a dedicated lifelong flamenco guitar player. Over the past ten years Johnny has played in front of audiences in excess of five thousand and has accumulated an impressive cv of support gigs, for the likes of: Texas, Shaun Ryder, Mani (from the Stone Roses), Ida Maria and Finley Quaye to name only a few. Johnny is currently playing with a signed band and has a worldwide publishing deal. Not only is Johnny a performing artist but he is also an established busy guitar tutor and session musician, based in the South East.
